Maternal Deprivation Inflicted on Battered Women and Abused Children

— batteredmomslosecustody

This site is devoted to exposing the re-victimization of women and children who are victims of domestic abuse and/or child abuse. The legal system is being used to inflict Maternal Deprivation on children and their mothers. Networks of unethical lawyers, Guardian Ad Litems, Psychologists, and other purveyors of  “Parental Alienation Syndrome” junk science will advocate for abusers and vilify protective parents FOR PROFIT. Evidence of abuse does not matter and is ignored when these unethical Parental Alienation accusing professionals show up in cases and use rhetoric to accuse the mother of being an “Alienator” then give visitation and/or custody to the abuser often removing the mother from the child’s life all together. Any mother who has been victimized by this fraudulent scheme needs to get the message out to the world and expose these people.

For details of this Maternal Deprivation as a form of Abuse click here: Maternal Deprivation Research

Maternal Deprivation was inflicted on monkeys by Harry Harlow with terrible consequences. Now this abuse is spreading to humans promulgated by unethical psychologists who are experimenting in social engineering on human children.

Message to Family Courts

Posted by Claudine Dombrowski on 2009/07/14

Hello Family Courts and father lobby groups. We have been monitoring your alliances, your views promoting pedophilia within your laws, the destruction of motherhood, the suppression of children and their mothers. We are aware of the children and women that are killed because you ordered it. We are aware of the parents who are treated like criminals because you were negligent in protecting them. We know of the lies you spout everytime the media catches a child killed by a court order. With the help of your underpaid court staff, we have been able to monitor your actions closely. We know of the innocent mothers laying in jail cells because they were against child abuse. Your malevolent actions for the sake of profit will not go unnoticed. Anonymums has decided that your organization must be destroyed. For the best interests of the children, for the good of mothers, fathers and grandparents and for the rest of the community. We shall expel you from funding and systematically dismantle your powers until your organization ceases to function. We acknowledge you as a serious opponent. Your methods, hypocrisy and exploitation will be circulated widely. You cannot hide as we are everywhere internally and externally. Like that of anonymous, we are indestructible but we are of our own origin, ideas and directions. No doubt you will attempt to suppress and distort our intentions, but the evidence we hold is beyond your power. We are above your law and adhere to human rights of which you are violating. We hold you in contempt for every life you order as cheap. The lives of women and children are not yours to own, nor control. Silence is control Control is for the unintelligent. That is why we are beyond you… We are anonymums

Dad Who Chose Prayer Over Doctors ‘Shocked’ by Daughters Death

Dad Who Chose Prayer Over Doctors ‘Shocked’ by Daughters Death

Posted by Ryan Smith

OREGON CITY, Ore. (CBS/AP) Carl and Raylene Worthington, parents of a 15-month old daughter, Ava, put their faith in spiritual healing, when their child got sick. Now the couple is on trial for manslaughter and criminal mistreatment for the infant’s death.
Carl Brent Worthington testified Friday that in the hours before his daughter died of pneumonia, he didn’t lose his faith, which he called a gift from God.
But Worthington wouldn’t say whether he would have done anything differently or taken the 15-month-old to a doctor last year.
“That’s an impossible question to answer because I wasn’t faced with that,” he told prosecutor Greg Horner. “It’s possible someone could lose their faith and take their child in.”
“If I don’t have the faith, that’s where I would have been, taking her in,” he said.

If convicted on the manslaughter charges, the couple faces up to 10 years in prison. It is the first such case brought under a 1999 Oregon law that bars a religious defense in most abuse cases.
The Worthingtons have argued that Ava appeared to be a healthy child suffering from a seasonal cold and never seemed in jeopardy until she died of a fast-moving infection on the night of March 2.
Worthington sobbed as he described how he and others were convinced Ava was better, so they were in the kitchen breaking a fast undertaken as part of the faith-healing. But from down the hall came a cry, he said, and he went to the bedroom to find Ava dead.
“I was shocked,” he said.
Prosecutor Horner suggested that family and friends undertook exceptional efforts in Ava’s last hours that they now are downplaying. The prosecution contends the girl died of a long-standing condition, a mass on her neck that grew so large it impeded her breathing and damaged her respiratory system, allowing pneumonia and infection to take hold.
Worthington said that the family and church members who gathered at the home drew on all of their faith-healing practices: annointing the girl with oil, giving her a dab of wine with water, calling church members for prayers, fasting and praying over the girl three times in the 24 hours.

The Worthingtons are members of the small Oregon City church, which advocates spiritual healing instead of medical care. It was the focus of an investigation a decade ago after a series of child deaths, resulting in the change to state law limiting exemptions from prosecution in faith healing deaths.
Horner questioned Worthington about what he told police after the death, saying the interviews painted a more serious picture of the girl’s condition than did his trial testimony.
Despite testimony from doctors that the girl could have been saved with medical attention shortly before her death, Worthington said he had heard nothing at the trial that proved she would have been helped.
When asked why he didn’t know about his daughter’s pneumonia and infection, Worthington replied: “Because I’m not a doctor, I guess.”
At an earlier hearing, the judge said the key in the Worthington case was the failure to provide medical care when there is a “compelling state interest” in protecting the health of children.
Worthington also testified Friday that at the insistence of Oregon child welfare officials, his surviving older daughter did get a medical exam after Ava’s death.
It showed the elder daughter healthy, he said, and the exam was done because state officials, who could take custody of the child, left the parents little choice.

MURDERER

MURDERER

By Jim Staats

Marin Independent Journal

The 27-year-old son of the late pornography king Jim Mitchell was booked into Marin County Jail early Monday on suspicion of beating to death the Novato mother of his 1-year-old daughter.

James Raphael Mitchell, of Pittsburg, was detained late Sunday night in Citrus Heights, near Sacramento, after fleeing with the toddler, triggering a statewide Amber Alert.

James Mitchell is suspected of killing 29-year-old Danielle Keller, a Novato High School graduate who was living with her mother and the couple’s daughter, Samantha Mitchell, on Diablo Court in Novato. Police found Keller dead in the backyard when they responded to a call at 6:53 p.m. Sunday about a possible assault.

Mitchell was located using cell phone technology in Citrus Heights and arrested at 11:59 p.m. Sunday by local police. Samantha was recovered unharmed and was placed with child protective services in Sacramento, according to Novato police Capt. Jim Berg.

“They will most likely contact Marin County child protective services to coordinate the best location for the child,” Berg said.

Mitchell was booked in Marin County Jail at 6:50 a.m. Monday on suspicion of murder, child concealment, violation of court orders and domestic violence, according to police. He was due to be be arraigned in Marin Superior Court at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. His attorney was reported to be former San Francisco district attorney Terence Hallinan.

Marin County Coroner Kenneth

Holmes said the cause of death was blunt force head trauma. Berg said police have a suspected weapon, though he declined further comment. There have been unconfirmed reports that a baseball bat was used.Keller’s mother, Claudia Stevens, spoke outside her home Monday morning as investigators searched for evidence on the property and yard behind her.

Stevens said she arrived home at about 5 p.m. Sunday after a Giants afternoon baseball game and was playing with Samantha, who was celebrating her first birthday. They had an ice cream cake ready for the young girl and Stevens went to visit some friends at 5:30 p.m. when she received a phone call from neighbors.

“They said I better get back over here right away,” said Stevens, a retired California Highway Patrol officer from Bakersfield. “I asked if Dani was OK and they told me she was dead and Samantha was missing.

“She was such a wonderful mother,” said Stevens of her daughter, who moved in with her six months ago after leaving the Pittsburg home she had shared with Mitchell.

Shaking with emotion as she spoke, Stevens said she saw Samantha on television Monday morning in the arms of a police officer.

“She seemed to be OK,” Stevens said. “She’s such a loving child.”

Stevens said her daughter, who worked in the cosmetics industry, had been interviewing for a new job and was trying to get her life back together after exiting an abusive relationship with Mitchell. She said the two had met two years ago at a club in San Francisco.

San Rafael attorney Charlotte Hideko Huggins represented Keller six months ago, helping her to gain a domestic violence restraining order against Mitchell.

Hideko Huggins said she had just mailed paperwork for a three-year restraining order Friday to Mitchell that he likely received Saturday.

Gina Stahl-Ricco of Novato was a fellow Novato High School graduate with Keller in 1998 who reconnected with “Dani” recently through Novato Mothers Club events.

“She moved back here six months ago to get away from this horrible person,” Stahl-Ricco said. “She always seemed bubbly and happy even though she was going through hard times. She was so committed to Sam. She was trying to get a support system here. She was trying to make a good life for Sam. She knew that’s what it was all about.”

Stahl-Ricco said although Mitchell had been abusive to her, Keller wavered in recent months about going back to him until she caught him doing drugs a month ago.

“She was sympathetic to his cause and would say ‘Oh, I hope he gets some help he’s had a tough past’ and I would tell her it doesn’t matter” and that she should stay away from him because he had allegedly hit her.

She said Keller was constantly having to ignore calls on her cell phone from Mitchell and had become increasingly scared of his recent messages.

“Sadly, it’s like you hear: You have a child together with somebody and you want it to work out and be ideal,” Stahl-Ricco said. “It didn’t seem like he wanted help.”

Hideko Huggins said Sunday was also the two-year anniversary of the death of porn king Jim Mitchell, the suspect’s father.

The elder Mitchell had developed a multimillion-dollar adult-film empire with his younger brother, Artie, and later was convicted of killing Artie in 1991 in Corte Madera. Jim Mitchell died on July 12, 2007 at his ranch near Petaluma at age 63 after serving three years of a six-year sentence for manslaughter in San Quentin State Prison.

Longtime Mitchell family friend Warren Hinckle, a veteran Bay Area author and journalist, said he saw Mitchell on July 5 at a party celebrating the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Mitchell brothers’ O’Farrell Theater. Hinckle said Mitchell had recently been doing well, having worked for a time at his family’s theater and serving in the Marines as a weekend reserve.

“He seemed in good shape to me, but a little tense,” he said. “I’m not sure how well domestic life suited him.”

A donation fund in the name of both Danielle Keller and Samantha Mitchell has been set up at Chase Bank, 1595 Grant Ave. in Novato.
